Please join us for this amazing interview with a very influential woman, Barbara Larson. Barbara has been involved in nonprofit foundation work since she graduated from college.  After working as the Director of donor Services for the Community Foundation Silicon Valley, Barbara went back to school to get a masters in Nonprofit Foundation Management.  With her degree, she discovered a newly found confidence in herself and decided to aim for the top. She was successful in her efforts and has now been the head of the Santa Clara Valley Red Cross since March of 2007.

This interview is one not to miss!  Barbara and host Amie Chilson, Founder and CEO of Girl Powered, Inc., discuss the recent fires in Southern California as well as the earthquake that hit the Bay Area in the Fall. Barbara has had an exciting first few months but has handled it all with ease.  Barbara also shares the importance of involving youth in volunteer programs and how it benefits the whole community not just in the present but also in the future.
